Consuming big objects
Venus trap seals its leave from both the sides for proper digestion. On several occasion, wings or legs of an insect cannot go inside the trap at one go. Therefore, process of sealing can be interrupted in addition to digestion.
The amount of the food must be 1/3 in comparison to trap. By using trap, the plant may bite something instead of chewing. It is better to leave the plant completely at this time. Dying trap can be altered by new growth in the future.
Stress due to movement

Silica sand must be used to aerate soil. Requirement of nutrients or fertilizers may not be felt at all. Mineral burn may be noticed due to use of fertilizer in the soil. Distilled water is the best cure on the occasions.
